Doc Films & the Seminary Co-op present Lab Coats in Hollywood & Woman in the Moon

In Lab Coats in Hollywood, David A. Kirby examines the interaction of science and cinema: how science consultants make movie science plausible, how filmmakers negotiate scientific accuracy within production constraints, and how movies affect popular perceptions of science. Kirby will address many of the issues raised in his book with reference to Fritz Lang's Woman in the Moon, which will screened following his talk.
